    Job Description

    In this role, you will be responsible for:

    • Designing and building scalable data collection systems that operate across hundreds of humanoid and mobile robots.

    • Developing semi-autonomous teleoperation systems that ensure low latency, high controllability, and minimal operator workload.

    • Creating automated pipelines to deploy trained models and rigorously evaluate them in both simulation and real-world robotic platforms.

    • Working closely with the Vision-Language-Action (VLA) team to seamlessly integrate and deploy cutting-edge models onto physical robots.

    Required Qualifications

    • MS degree with 3+ years of industry experience, or PhD in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

    • Extensive hands-on experience with physical robotic systems (e.g., mobile manipulators, humanoids).

    • Deep knowledge of teleoperation systems, including leader–follower architectures, AR, or VR interfaces.

    • Strong programming proficiency in C++, Python, and ROS 1/2.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • PhD or equivalent research experience in robot learning.

    • Strong publication record at top-tier robotics venues (e.g., RSS, CoRL, Science Robotics, TRO, IJRR).

    • Practical experience implementing advanced control strategies on hardware, including impedance control, adaptive control, force control, or MPC.

    • Experience using tactile sensing for dexterous manipulation and contact-rich tasks.

    • Prior experience leading or contributing to large-scale robot data collection initiatives.

    Job Description

    In this role, you will be responsible for:

    Job Description

    As a research intern, you will actively engage in cutting-edge robotics research with the clear goal of producing publishable results. Interns are expected to lead or co-author a research paper for submission to top international conferences such as RSS, CoRL, ICRA, or IROS. In addition, your work may also contribute to the development of our open robotic data ecosystem, ensuring broader impact.

     

    Projects are carefully selected to align your expertise with our research objectives, creating opportunities for meaningful academic contributions.

    Sample Projects

    Sample research directions include:

    • Advancing teleoperation through leader–follower architectures, AR, and VR, focusing on reduced latency, higher control fidelity, and lower operator workload.

    • Applying tactile and force–torque sensing to develop novel force-control methods within Vision–Language–Action (VLA) frameworks.

    • Designing techniques for real-time tactile and force feedback to operators, improving human–robot interaction.

    • Building high-fidelity simulators and leveraging them to develop robust sim-to-real transfer methods.

    Required Qualifications

    • Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a Master’s or PhD in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

    • Hands-on experience with physical robots (e.g., manipulators, mobile robots, or robotic platforms used in research labs).

    • Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in robotics (e.g., Python, C++, ROS 1/2).

    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a research team.

    Job Description

    You will play a critical role in building the data backbone powering next-generation robotics foundation models: 

    • Design and implement large-scale data pipelines that cover the full lifecycle of high-quality datasets for robotics foundation models—collection, processing, curation, and publishing. 

    • Design, build, and maintain data schemas, storage solutions, and query interfaces to enable VLA researchers to efficiently discover, query, and consume curated datasets. 

    • Collaborate closely with VLA researchers to capture evolving data requirements and continuously improve data pipelines through analysis and experimentation.

    • Design and scale distributed data-processing pipelines capable of handling petabyte-scale multimodal datasets (e.g., RGB/Depth, point clouds) with full lineage and reproducibility. 

    • Define data-quality metrics and build feedback loops to continuously monitor and improve data quality.

    Required Qualifications

    • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

    • 3+ years of professional experience as a software engineer in data engineering, machine learning, or robotics.

    • Experience developing high-quality, production-level software in a team environment.

    • Experience in deploying distributed systems to popular cloud services such as AWS, GCP, Azure.

    • Experience with building Data Lakehouse or Data Warehouse systems in combination with ELT/ETL data pipelines.

    • Optimize ML infrastructure and pipeline for cost, performance, and reliability

    • Design, develop, and maintain MLOps tools and platforms to ensure VLA researchers can efficiently visualize and analyze the performance

    Required Qualifications

    • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

    • 3+ years of professional experience as a software engineer in MLOps engineering, machine learning, or robotics.

    • Experience developing high-quality, production-level software in a team environment.

    • Experience in deploying distributed systems to popular cloud services such as AWS, GCP, Azure.

    Job Description

    • Design, develop and implement teleoperation systems, including real‑time control, low‑latency audio/video streaming and operator-facing interfaces.

    • Work closely with robot operators to gather feedback from real‑world use and continuously improve the user experience.

    • Provide data‑quality feedback through the teleoperation UI to encourage higher‑quality data collection.

    • Develop and maintain applications that support data collection, such as internal tools and dashboards.

    • Build intuitive web‑based interfaces for managing and monitoring data pipelines.

    • Collaborate with VLA teams and Data/ML platform teams to ensure seamless data ingestion and workflow management.

    • Design and implement APIs to facilitate data interactions between internal services and external data sources.

    • Develop configuration‑management systems to store and update metadata, including robot configurations and task descriptions.

    • Ensure secure communication through robust authentication and access‑control mechanisms.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

    • 4+ years of professional experience as a full‑stack engineer.

    • Experience developing high-quality, production-level software in a team environment.

    • Proficiency in frontend frameworks such as Next.js, React or Vue.

    • Proficiency in implementing backend solutions using such technologies as Go and Python FastAPI.

    • Experience building RESTful APIs and designing scalable backend systems.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience developing real-time dashboards, robot control interfaces, or similar applications.

    • Experience with web crawling and large-scale data processing is a plus.

    • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure.

    • Strong understanding of web/mobile app development and real‑time communication protocols (WebSocket, MQTT, gRPC).

    • Experience with ROS/ROS2 and related web tools (e.g., ROSBridge, Foxglove, Webviz).

    • Familiarity with robot telemetry, sensor data visualization, and live camera feeds.

    • Experience optimizing system performance using performance analysis tools.

    Others (linguistic qualification, etc.)

     English proficiency at business level is highly appreciated.
